Music has been a constant part of my life for decades. As a musician, producer, songwriter, and session player, I work across a range of genres including hip hop, punk, indie, electronic, ambient, and downtempo music. Whether I'm recording bass guitar, producing tracks, developing arrangements, or helping bring an artist's vision to life, my focus is always on creating music that feels authentic and connects with listeners. Alongside collaborative work, I also create and release original music through a number of projects, such as Distract!ons. Drawing influence from artists such as Bonobo, Tycho, Apparat, Peter Gabriel, and Pink Floyd, my productions blend organic textures, electronic elements, and strong songwriting. I also offer music production, recording, session performance, songwriting support, and creative collaboration for artists, bands, and independent projects.

distract!ons

distract!ons is my solo music project, exploring the space between electronic music, ambient soundscapes, downtempo grooves, and organic instrumentation. Built around a love of texture, atmosphere, and melody, the project blends electronic production techniques with influences drawn from nature, growth, movement, and everyday life.

Rather than being tied to a single genre, distract!ons serves as a creative outlet for experimentation and exploration. Some tracks lean towards chilled instrumental electronica, while others incorporate elements of indie, hip hop, post-rock, or cinematic music. The common thread is a focus on creating immersive listening experiences that reward both casual listening and deeper attention. Through distract!ons, I aim to create music that feels reflective, evolving, and genuinely human in an increasingly automated world.

Hayden Smith

I am currently working with Hayden Smith, an active and prolific songwriter, recording artist and producer who creates compelling and thoughtful music that sits somewhere between traditional and modern hip-hop, indie and soul.

Revellers

I played punk rock band Revellers during an incredible three years from around 2012. During that time we released two EPs "Night Time Lunatics" and "Your Round", both of which were mixed and mastered by legends of punk rock Stephen Egerton (Descendents, Less Than Jake, The Flatliners) and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX, Comeback Kid) respectively.

Lamexcuse

Lamexcuse, the band I started playing in during year 10 (circa 1998). Life changing stuff. We spent the best part of 12 years writing, practicing and travelling playing our music. But mostly we spent the time having some incredibly great times and growing up somewhat.
